Installing tile requires the use of spacers to provide even grout joints. Typical tile spacers are “T” shaped and hard to handle, especially when installing large porcelain, marble, granite and/or stone tile. A better alternative for plastic tile spacers are U-shaped tile shims and flat shims. They are available in varying thicknesses and provide a larger surface area to grasp when placing in grout joints.
When laying a new tile floor or backsplash, leveling cabinets is often part of the project and these reusable plastic shims are perfect for permanent leveling solutions.
